I have not checked out SuSE before, but have heard that http://en.opensuse.org/Welcome_to_openSUSE.org is pretty good. :)

Well as I can't add a news item I will continue with this old SuSe thread.
I found a link from the INQ today to this website Protest the Microsoft-Novell Patent Agreement
Looking at this SuSe could be in trouble with many users and even some users looking into other distros.
This would be fun for sys admin’s already running SuSe within their companies but as you can see some people are rather upset with the Novell + MS deal and some of them are sys admin’s.
Did MS plan this, have they just killed off a good dist for £300m or so. 1 down however many to go...
It might be worth keeping an eye on Ubuntu as this could really kick off their server flavour of Linux…
Just my personal option.

nice find and also thoughts :). yeah, you do have to wonder if MS are trying to kill of some of the distributions in this manor, but of course for them, once bitten twice shy.
Nice find. :)

Nice one.. you are on the ball :)
I wonder what will happen with the MS/Novell and Linux in general in the next coming months / years.
