2006-10-03 20:22:49		 If any updates to the mplayer and find that the screen is not displayed at full rate and or there is any problem with the sound speed. I just use the standard configuration file within the ~/.mplayer/config file (vim ~/.mplayer/config) and add these two options

zoom=yes
ao=sdl

the zoom is te fullscreen option and the ao is the audio output option.

2006-10-12 19:17:14		 Also just notice that if you include the xv use flag, this will enable you to have the full back again ;).

echo "media-video/mplayer xv" >> /etc/portaget/package.use

this is in my package.use for mplayer

media-video/mplayer dts dvd dvdread avi live matroska mpeg oggvorbis real theora xanim aac alsa arts oss vorbis nvidia xvid openal gtk xv
